Fight Cancer and Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA)
Join the fight against cancer and non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in Sub-Saharan Africa by partnering with the International Cancer Institute foundation. We have several programs and activities that are geared towards improving standards of care in cancer and Non-Communicable Diseases.
What We Do
-
Education & Training
We support educational programs by International Cancer Institute targeting all cadres of healthcare workers by way of scholarships to enhance patient access to up-to-date standards of care. You can sponsor a healthcare worker for both clinical and non-clinical courses to enhance their capacity.
-
Patient Support
We support cancer patients throughout their treatment journey. We offer access to drugs, counselling, facilitation, etc. A patient responds to treatment better when everything is good at home. Patients that come to our clinic get accommodation at Tulia Manor, a home away from home as they get treatment.
-
Advocacy
International Cancer Institute is at the forefront of shaping and developing cancer and non-communicable disease policy across Sub-Saharan Africa. We also contribute to the curriculum development of cancer programmes across SSA.
-
Clinical Care
ICI Foundation supports the ICI Care and Research Clinic (ICI CRC) as well as county referral, subcounty hospitals across Kenya through the ICI outreach department. Patients from these hospitals are facilitated to access further treatment at ICI CRC in Eldoret Kenya
