Conflict of Interest
All Board members and staff are required to comply with the charity’s conflict of interest policy. The Board has put in place documented procedures for Board members and staff to declare actual or potential conflicts of interests on a regular and need-to basis. Board members also abstain and do not participate in decision-making on matters where they have a conflict of interest.
ICIF has in place, a whistleblowing policy to address concerns about possible wrongdoing or improprieties in financial or other matters within the charity.
Gifts Acceptance Policy
ICIF has a Gifts Acceptance Policy that requires that members, officers and staff decline to accept certain gifts, consideration or remuneration from individuals or companies that seek to do business with ICIF or are a competitor of it. This policy and disclosure form is intended to implement that prohibition on gifts.
